A
similar technique used with the VFab has been developed for screen
fabrics, dramatically improving solar energy performance,
while staying true to the durability and corrosion resistance of
screen fabircs. This process, known as metallisation, is applied
to a Fiberglass/PVC: 1x2 yarn weave (MS-5) which provides a woven
textile appearance versus the standard industrial look of the basic
2x2 yarn. SOS is pleased to offer SS-5.
SS-5 metallised fabric can make an important contribution to the
interior climate and lighting circumstances, both at home and in
the office. The thin layer of aluminum on the fabric gives it remarkable
light regulating and heat-reflective properties beyond your standard
screen fabrics.
