A sufficiently weighted metal extrusion mounted on the exterior of the bottom hem of shade used in lieu of an enclosed aluminum hembar for aesthetic reasons. It is not sewn into the bottom of the shade. The Extruded Hembar provides sufficient weight to allow the shade to close without buckling or sagging.
